Wersja polska

The GOSIA Workshop 2008 was held in Heavy Ion Laboratory of Warsaw University, 8-10 April, 2008. The aim of the workshop was to bring together the community of present and potential GOSIA users. The meeting provided experienced users with an opportunity to present recent achievements in COULEX measurement analysis, allowing newcomers to the field to get some handy hints.

Problems for the "hands-on" GOSIA session

  • getting started with GOSIA;

  • GOSIA as a simulation tool: estimation of Coulex cross sections and gamma yields;

  • description of particle detector geometry;

  • normalization to target excitation;

  • how to take into account E0/E2 branching?

  • inverse kinematics cases
