Rez Institute following the discussion on the research
infrastructures in
Central and East Europe going on at the EPS Nuclear Physics Board and
NuPECC has organized a workshop linked to the activities of the NEEN
network. The meeting took place in Prague, March 14-16,
2005.

The 29th Mazurian Lakes Conference
on Physics was held in Piaski, Poland, August 30 - September 6, 2005.
The Conference was organized by the Andrzej Soltan Institute
for Nuclear Studies and the Warsaw University.

- From the structure of nucleon to the structure of nucleus
- Weak interactions and neutrino physics.
The Conference was followed
by the Compressed Baryonic Matter Collaboration (CBM) Meeting and

The XII Nuclear Physics Workshop
Maria and Pierre Curie was
held in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland on September 21-25, 2005.
The workshop was organized by Department of Theoretical
Physics of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin
and Institute of Subatomic Research (IReS), Strasbourg.
The main subject of the conference is "Nuclear Structure Physics
and Low Energy Reactions".
The Workshop main topics:
- nuclei at the limits of stability;
- superheavy elements;
- fusion and fission reactions;
- nuclear spectroscopy;
- new aspects of pairing forces;
- dynamical correlations in ground states;
Seminars were devoted both to theoretical and experimental
problems of nuclear phenomena.
