Subject: status of workshop in Prague

Dear colleagues,

current status of the workshop participation etc. is as follows:

Debrecen

Atomki:

Ferenc Tarkanyi On the cyclotron and applied nuclear physics

research (it makes no sense to talk so much
on the cyclotron itself)

Zsolt Fulop Research on nuclear astrophysics

Attila Krasznahorkay Research on nuclear structure

Rezso Lovas (no talk)

Bratislava

Slovac Academy of Science, Institute of Physics:
Emil Betak, 13-16.3.
Stefan Gmuca, 13-16.3.,

Comenius University, chair of Nuclear Physics:
Stefan Saro, 13-16.3.,

Warszaw

University Warszaw, Heavy Ion Laboratory:
Jerzy Jastrzebski ??
plus two(three) other people

Cracow

POlish Academy of Science, Institute of Nuclear Physics:

four people?

Rez

Czech Academy of Science, Nuclear Physics Institute:
Jan Dobes
Andrej Kugler
V.Kroha Research in nuclear astrophysics at Rez cyclotron
P.Bem Research in neutronics at Rez cyclotron
J. Stursa Application activities and status of Rez cyclotron

As You see, we have already preliminary titles of some talks, I am still waiting for names (and topics) from Warsaw and Cracow. Let me remind You that our goal is to cover basic research in Nuclear Physics carried out at cyclotron laboratories in our region, however participation is not limited to Bratislava, Cracow, Debrecen, Rez and Warsaw, only. Any nuclear physicist from institutes in NEEN (for example from other Polish labs) is welcommed. If we will have time, presentation covering research in basic nuclear physics carried out by groups from central Europe outside above mentioned four cyclotron centers could be presented, too. In addition we plan to ask somebody from CYCLEUR to present this project at our meeting, too.

I would like to ask members of our task force not mentioned in above list to specify asap their participation details (date of arrival, departure...) and especially our polish colleagues to promote our meeting in PNPN

best wishes
Andrej
