The "Maria and Pierre Curie'' Nuclear Physics Workshop, organized annually by the Department of Theoretical Physics of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University was held in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland on September 23-26.     This year the Zakopane School of Physics had a form of the International Symposium, entitled "Atomic nuclei at extreme values of temperature, spin and isospin".  On February 27th, 2004, a Polish-French meeting on the future collaboration between the Polish physicists and the GANIL laboratory took place at HIL.
