The "Maria and Pierre Curie'' Nuclear Physics Workshop, organized
annually by the Department of Theoretical Physics of the Maria
Curie-Sklodowska University was held in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland on
September 23-26. The main subject of this year's Workshop was
"Physics of Exotic Nuclei".

The meeting of Polish Nuclear Physics Network representatives together
with delegates from Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary took place in
Kraków, September 14-15, 2004.

This year the Zakopane School of Physics had a form of the
International Symposium, entitled "Atomic nuclei at extreme values of
temperature, spin and isospin". It was held in Zakopane (Poland) from

On February 27th, 2004, a Polish-French meeting on the future
collaboration between the Polish physicists and the
GANIL laboratory took place at HIL.
Presentations were given by the director of GANIL, Dominique Goutte
