The International Symposium on the Structure of Exotic Nuclei and Nuclear Forces (SENUF 06) was held on the 9th-12th of March, 2006 at the University of Tokyo. The symposium was devoted to theoretical and experimental developments of the studies on the structure of exotic nuclei and its relation to nuclear forces.   The International Workshop on "Nuclear Physics with RIBF" was held at RIKEN, Japan on 13-17 March 2006. The first circular of this workshop and details of the RIKEN facility are posted at the web site http://rarfaxp.riken.go.jp/RIBF2006/

  The XVth GANIL WORKSHOP (XVeme Colloque GANIL) was held in Giens (FRANCE cote d’azur) from May 29th to June 2nd 2006. The purpose of the conference was to review and discuss the research carried out at GANIL and the related activities carried out at similar facilities around the world. The experiments performed in the first four years of operation of the SPIRAL facility as well as its future developments will be largely discussed. Several sessions of the workshop was also devoted to the presentation and the discussion of the future physics opportunities with SPIRAL 2 and needed technical developments.

 The 5th Balkan School on Nuclear Physics was held in Brasov, Romania on September 7-14, 2006. This edition of the School was devoted to Radioactive Beam Facilities and Physics.
